What is the first thing you do when you are looking to do business with someone? The majority of people these days look up that person or business first. This is where consumer confidence comes in play. When people see good reviews from other customers, they are going to feel even more comfortable working with you.

How are people going to use your service if they haven’t even heard of you or seen you online? They’re not. Give them a reason to come to you!  Back in the day, you had to slowly build a reputation, now you can instantly have one online and manage it all from there (CRAZY). ONE bad review can make your reputation plummet.

 

  • Testimonials- When people write you thank you notes about how well your service was, post it! Turn that into a testimonial. When consumers read good customer testimonials, that really builds trust for you and your business. Use review sites like Yelp and Google+ that way you pop up instantly on the search engine with good reviews on all accounts. The more testimonials, the better.

  • Honesty- Give the the “What you see is what you get feel”. If you’re advertising certain things on your website, make sure you are doing the same thing when they walk in your shop. Make your service sell itself.  That will bring repeat customers who will send you even more referrals.

 

  • Professional Accomplishments- Proudly display any awards or accomplishments you and your company have made.  Put them on your website, your wall, or anywhere that your consumers will see! This helps them know they can trust you and your services.

 

A great thing about consumer confidence is: You can raise your prices,  change your products, or whatever,  but consumers will still buy from you because they TRUST you. Get to that point sooner than later! Smile
