Keeping a Powerful Database
There should be a point in your career at which you require less effort for greater ROI. However, that takes a lot of initial work. The key to this is having a solid database with a great system to back it up.
1) The best use for a database in many situations is the generation of return business and referrals. Whether it is acquaintances, past clients, referral partners, or friends; you always want to be at the top of their mind in regards to your service.
2) Make sure you are sending something out monthly to your entire database. A newsletter is great for this.
3) Keep all of these people up to date every month. Update them with local events, fundraisers, sporting events, holidays, etc.
4) The more you get to know your clients, the more they trust you. If they trust you, the more warm referrals they will send your way. Get to know them. Say happy anniversary when they’ve owned their home for a year or send them info on things in the community they might want to join.
5) Email marketing is great and convenient. Set up email blasts to specific groups with updates and new listings that you have.
6) Co-market with your referral partners. This can help to reciprocate the business coming from the realtor to the loan officer and vice versa.
Wouldn’t it be nice to not have to chase down all your leads?
